It’s not often that I subject the world to the sight of my legs in shorts, when I say not often, I actually mean– NEVER! But, for those of you lucky enough to have socially acceptable pins, here are a few ways to get them out of winter hibernation and prepped and ready for the glorious spring sunshine that we’re having…





I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the key to getting most things right is preparation. Wake up weary legs by scrubbing off dead skin cells and boosting your circulation. Whether you make your own, I mix ground coffee with sugar and coconut oil whilst my coffee percolates, or you want to invest in a scented scrub, exfoliate away and revive your legs with a little in-shower bump (removal) n’ grind.





After many months inside jeans, under your desk and cosied under a multitude of layers, your skin will need a little extra hydration.  Lather your legs with a little extra moisturizer before you put them on parade, it’ll also help to keep up a natural tan once the sunbathing sessions start.






Originally hailing from Essex, I’m not ashamed to admit that fake tan is my goddess - my golden, slimming, sometimes shimmery goddess. All out ochre, or a gradual build up to bronze - there are so many good fake tans, gradual tans, instant tans, wash on/wash off and tinted moisturisers (that’s still fake tan just admit it) on the market nowadays. Just remember to moisturise elbows, knees, feet and the back of your hands before you get started, to avoid the tell tale signs of a faked bake.
