HOW NOT TO BE A DEBBIE DOWNER TODAY

If, like me, you’re not quite feeling the vibe this Monday or you spent last night with that sickly ‘back to school’ feeling…weeeelllll cool your falafels, because we’ve got a few ways to keep you Monday blues free.

FLASH 'EM A SMILE

Research has shown that when we laugh and smile, our body releases all those feel good endorphins that make us feel that much more cheery. Doi! So, on your way to work smile at your fellow commuters and pass on the good vibe groove.

MAKE A MONDAY PLAN

Rather than just sacking it off because it’s a Monday, make a plan and give yourself something to look forward to. Seeing as it’s the least productive day of the week, you’ll have plenty of energy after work to head out for dinner or try a new exercise class.

TALKING OF EXERCISE...

Get an early night on Sunday and rise a littler earlier on the Monday to fit in a work out. Rumour has it that it only takes 20 minutes of cardio and you’ll feel ‘subtle mood benefits’ that can last up to twelve hours…I’ll have what she’s having.

WEAR SOMETHING SWISHY

It’s not rocket science that when you look good, you feel good. Put a little extra effort into your Monday outfit and you’ll walk out the door ready to take on the day feeling good and looking great.

GET A LITTLE MORNING NOOKY

If you’re lucky enough to be waking up to a handsome hubby-to-be, boyfriend or friend that sometimes comes over for a ‘grown up sleepover’ -  be sure to get some morning delight. If you catch my drift. Top of the list for feel good chemicals is oxytocin aaannnnnd top of the list of oxytocin-releasing activities iiiiisssss…experiencing an orgasm.
